This is an example of my english level ...
I know too : where's Brian? In the kitchen ... So... be nice with me ^^
My name's Ludivine, i'm 30 years old Sad , I read a lot ( I try!) but not english book and I'm working whith child with autism.
I look a lot of TV series in english (under titled), so I have a good comprehension but I never speak ( or write) in English, that's why this post is already a big difficulty for me.
I've got a big problem with conjugation, so don't be afraid if I always speak on "present" ^^

I work with children with autisme since 6 years. We try to teach them how communicate, to decrease their behavior disorders ....It's the autism's year did you know?
People don't really know this pathology and often think that autistic people are all like " rain man", but this is just a minority of them.

At the moment, I watch One tree Hill ( last season, last episode), the river, hart of dixie and vampire diaries, most girly series ^^

I work with children with autism too. Actually, I'm doing my graduation work on helping two teenagers with autism using their communication support. Not easy everyday but really interesting. It's always such a joy to see every little step of communication coming from them. You're doing a beautiful job! Smile

I'm a student in speech therapy (orthophonie/logopédie in French/Belgian) and I've got 5 different internships this years. Including one in a school for teenagers with severe mental disability (different kind of handicaps) where I do my graduation work.
I'm using PECS with them, yes. I had a training session a few weeks ago for it.

I'm a psychologist for children and i worked with children with autism since the beginning. That's my speciality ^^
In September, I had a training session in ABA, and now I've a ABA consultant who supervised me.
It's really interesting!
